A master’s degree can help, but it is not a universal F1 requirement
There is a persistent assumption that an F1 engineer needs a master's degree.

There is no publicly available universal formula for who gets hired by an F1 team. Teams do not publish a single ranking of universities, degrees or applicant profiles that guarantees selection.

And for most aspiring engineers, that process starts long before the first F1 job application appears.
